    Food was great! I got the Chile Verde with chicken . I ate it all! The guacamole was great too just a little spicy. DoorDash came within an hour. Worth it! Thank you!! Authentic salsa verde too

    This was the first time we've ordered from Don Tequila.(Door Dash) We will not be coming back. I ordered 2 Fried Lobster Chimichangas ($1 extra for each one). We got 2 soft Lobster enchiladas and they were horrible. No flavor at all. Asked for extra sauce, received none. Paid $4 extra for a tiny styrofoam thing of rice-complete rip off. Ordered Quesadillas and no sauce of any kind...not even some sour cream.
    I guess no one can compete with Fiesta Jalepenos.

    Kind of disappointing. The queso did not have a lot of flavor and the chicken fajitas were just okay.

    Our last visit to Don Tequilas was adequate. It's a typical Mexican restaurant that serves creamy pinto beans that look like chocolate pudding.... there ARE a few Mexican restaurants that serve cooked beans where u can ACTUALLY see beans, it's called frijoles de olla (seasoned boiled beans) deliciosa!! Suddenly there are no female waitresses.... last 2 times we were there for lunch, only guys working, hmmm
    Anyway, Don Tequilas is suitable & cost friendly. #SatsfiedCustomer

    I have traveled the Mexican border quite a bit and had a Grandma who was head of food service for one of the largest hospitals in El Paso. This food, while it has components associated with Mexican food, is not authentic. The enchiladas had great cheese and corn tortillas but really bland sauce and they put tomato slices and green peppers on it!
     The flavors were so bland and subdued it made me sad. The two stars are for the huge margarita and decent salsa.
